Daycare

Your dogs are happy and well looked after…

Here at Bury K9 Centre, we understand that people are working increasingly long hours, travelling further to work and have busy lifestyles. This can make it difficult to return home to ‘let the dog out’ and many dogs are being left home alone for long periods or worse still, families are prevented from owning a pet at all.

Dogs left for long periods can develop stress and behavioural problems such as separation anxiety, destructive behaviours, excessive barking and soiling in the home to name but a few.  Stress can also lead to health issues such as digestive problems, changes in appetite and even aggression.

How dog daycare can help…

By providing your dog with a safe, fun and stimulating environment, daycare can help increase their social skills whilst giving them lots of exercise and fun!!! Supervised by our staff of canine professionals we will encourage your dog to run, have fun and make lots of new friends!!!

Bury K9 Centre, a home-from-home…

At Bury K9 Centre we provide that safe and stimulating environment for our four legged guests and ensure they receive the very best care and attention and do our utmost to create a home-from-home experience.

We integrate as much as possible formal training in a fun and constructive way to build and cultivate canine social skills whilst at the same time giving them plenty of exercise.

The outside – inside…

The outside – inside…

Our indoor hall is large enough to allow for running freedom and play without suffering the elements on a rainy day. It is almost as large as our outside activity area and is just like bringing the ‘outside-in’ !

The hall can be split in half to create two 400 sq ft exercise spaces to allow the rotation of the dog groups.

The inside – Outside…

Our outside activity area has been furnished with dog -friendly tunnels and play-houses, paddling pools and other obstacles to either play as a group or to practice obedience skills.

We have a 12m by 6m marquee ready to erect in this area so that we can shelter our guests from all weathers either from the sun or from wind and rain. In autumn and winter it helps the team to dry the dogs off before they come back into the main hall.

At present the marquee is playing a dual role being set up inside the main hall to host a weekend seminar keeping our human guests warm following the change in temperature.

Fine Dining at Bury K9…

We have 8 individual kennels for those who like to have a spot of lunch or maybe just some chill out time. Our oldies and puppies sometimes just need quiet time away from the fray and this provides the ideal opportunity to do so. It is bright and airy with great ventilation to provide clean fresh air all day

At the moment we are working on our doggy “snug” with plump sofas and beds for those guests who prefer their chill time to be a bit more “sumptuous”!
