Meet the team

Our staff all come with individual knowledge and experience with our four legged friends. We have a number of fully qualified dog trainers who each have many years of experience in different aspects of the canine world.

Sharon is the Bury K9 Centre Manager and has lived and worked in the canine industry for over 20 years. She has wide experience in many fields which include 5 years as a veterinary nurse, three years as a Guide Dog trainer, Samoyed specialist and behaviourist and has a passion for canine photography.

Tracey is our resident organisational power house who ensures the centre runs like clockwork. Her main skills and experience lie in the equestrian world where she has spent nearly 15 years. She has kindly lent her skills to the Bury K9 Centre and does the meet-and-greet during the morning ‘rush-hour’.

Sarah is also one of our resident dog trainers and has extensive behaviorism skills. She handles the dog group assignments to make sure our four legged customers get along and play nicely together.

Olivia is our trainee and is a positive bundle of energy. She organises the adventure activities for our customers and engages them in games, seek and locate general fitness. Olivia also entertains our guests in the dining room and ensures they enjoy their meals and have everything they need.

Paula hosts and runs the Agility classes here at Bury K9 Centre and has over 25 years of training and competition experience. Her classes are run on a Saturday and consist of beginners and intermediates and also runs a very popular just-for-fun seek and follow class.

When she’s not running her classes Paula organises and competes in regional and national agility competitions with Bailey her cocka-poo.
